The result increases integration & processing leading to resolution & healing.
Adding swear words and phrases to the background of the journaling paper encourages journaling for people of ALL ages. We all know a good swear word goes a long way in managing intense moods. This is especially helpful for teens to manage their own emotions while also giving them permission to engage in something that is typically taboo.
Swear Journal also helps with creative expression & ideas, resulting in satisfaction and relief. Being that swear words are typically a ‘no no’ especially for tweens & teens; Swear Journal helps meet their strong need to oppose, resulting in increasing levels of dopamine, the ‘feel good’ chemical in the brain.
